From First to last

From First To Last is a seminal screamo band that emerged from the early-2000s golden age of the underground music scene, an era defined by Vans Warped Tour and relentless touring alongside genre-defining peers like Fall Out Boy. Early releases featured vocals from Sonny Moore (later known as Skrillex), with vocal duties subsequently carried forward by Matt Good. Their emotionally raw vocals, chaotic energy, and post-hardcore aggression helped define the sound and spirit of the MySpace era, shaping a generation of heavy music fans.

Today, the band continues forward with longtime members Matt Good and Travis Richter, alongside returning bassist Matt Manning. Chris Lent is currently stepping in on drums, while Derek Bloom is on hiatus to pursue personal interests.

Beyond the band, Matt Good remains an active and successful multi-genre producer, while Travis Richter is co-owner of music venue 1720 in Los Angeles, keeping From First To Last closely connected to the current world of music.

In 2024, From First To Last released “Mirror Soul,” featuring guest vocals from Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens, marking a new chapter that honors the band’s screamo roots while continuing to evolve.
